Many built-in screen mirroring and streaming protocols such as AirPlay, Cast and Miracast do not require internet to establish a mirroring connection. However, in many cases, the sending and receiving devices will need to be connected to the same local network — such as your wifi network — but neither your devices nor the local network need internet access unless you want to mirror content from the internet.
