Version 1.3 requires a Core Duo or later Mac. If you have a Mac with a Core Solo processor, do not upgrade to 1.3 or AirParrot will no longer work.

  • Apple TV 3 1080p - AirParrot is now fully compatible with AppleTV 3. ATV3 only accepts mirroring at 720p but AirParrot coerces it into accepting that glorious 1080p mirror from your Mac!
  • Performance to 11 - We rewrote the mirroring engine from the ground up to support the highest possible quality stream with super low latency. It's seriously fast.
  • App Mirroring - Now you can mirror just a specific app or even a specific window of an app. Great for demos.
  • Restyled Menu - The AirParrot menu now has icons, better grouping and easier to understand functions.
  • Major Bugs:
    • Fixed loud static that could occur during mirroring with audio for some users
    • Fixed the cursor not displaying and/or displaying incorrect cursor image
    • Fixed several crashers
