Getting Started with AirParrot

Step 1: Open the DMG and drag AirParrot to Applications

After opening the AirParrot DMG file, you will need to drag the AirParrot.app file into your computers /Applications folder. AirParrot MUST run from this directory to prevent issues when using the application.

Step 2: Open AirParrot from Applications

Double click the AirParrot file in your Applications folder to open it. You will not see any windows appear.

Step 3: Click the AirParrot icon in the Menu Bar and select the device to mirror to

AirParrot runs from your menu bar near the clock. Connecting, disconnecting and all other functions can be performed by clicking the AirParrot icon near your clock. Select a device from the list to begin mirroring.

Step 1: Run the Installer

After downloading the AirParrot MSI file, double click it to begin the install process.

Step 2: Accept the EULA

By accepting the EULA, you agree to the terms and conditions presented. Click continue to move on.

Step 3: Open AirParrot from the Start Menu

Locate AirParrot in the start menu, and click to open it. AirParrot does not have any windows. It is controlled from the system tray near your clock.

Step 4: Click "Allow" in Windows Firewall alert

AirParrot MUST be allowed through the Windows firewall. Please be sure to check both Private and Public networks.

Step 5: Right click on the AirParrot icon in the tray and select the device to mirror to

To begin mirroring, right click on the AirParrot icon in your system tray and select a device to mirror to. This menu also allows you to change settings and perform other application specific functions.
